Noon by Noor Mirage
SS26
United in a vision of elegance and sophistication, Noon by Noor’s Spring/ Summer 2026 offers clothing fit for the office as well as head-turning evening looks. Designers Shaikha Noor Al Khalifa and Shaikha Haya Al Khalifa cite inspiration in a myriad of sources: the romanticism of pre-Raphelite paintings; a youth spent under desert skies.
Braided rope as belts feature prominently throughout this collection. It creates a cinched effect that is cohesive with the tailored fit of blazers, trousers and trenchcoats whilst also adding intrigue through a texture which contrasts the clean-cut silhouettes, and the lightweight fabrics. Elsewhere, tulle adds texture to skimpy slip dresses.
For me, the stand-out garments in the aptly named presentation Mirage are made from fabric that refracts the light to mesmerising effect, recalling the glint of the Thames river just outside Somerset House on this particularly sunny September day, A hoodie and matching long skirt are causally glamorous. There is a confident power in a shimmering white dress.
Intriguingly, two stark red looks deviate from the overall light and desert-grounded colour palette. Like a shock of lipstick, these two garments offer a bolder, more adventurous aspect to this collection.
