Art installation in a rustic interior with large abstract fabric suspended over a wooden floor and exposed brick walls.
Close-up of a fabric with blue and beige patches, visible stitching and a textured, artistic design.

A printmaker based in Cornwall, my work is concerned with landscape, place and society's increasingly uncomfortable yet expanding relationship with disposable culture and the waste generated by it. The takeaway food containers in the hedgerows and the plastic bags blowing in the trees.

I choose to print predominantly outside embracing rot, decay and mould as part of the process, as a means of subverting the traditional ideas and rules of printmaking. Enabling me to embrace the chance marks and focus on process rather than image and breaking away from the constraints of the clean white border.
