Through my work, I strive to ignite conversations and evoke emotions, driven by a passion for the transformative capabilities of textiles, and the deep enjoyment of research and experimentation.

As a designer, I enjoy the art of problem-solving, which challenges my current way of thinking and allows for creative opportunities through a tactile and experimental approach. I thrive whilst working hands-on, such as draping with fabric to captivate silhouettes or crafting intricate textile manipulations. The human touch is at the core of my creative process, as I strive to create garments that forge a genuine connection with the wearer, embodying authenticity and personal expression.

If Water Was a Fabric…

Immersing in the captivating realm of water, Venice and its power dynamics, my collection explores water's movement and reflective essence. My interest in repurposing items and textiles, such as using CDs as sequins, sparked the idea of employing buttons interconnected by jump rings, creating a chainmail fabric to capture the characteristics of water.

By envisioning water as a fabric, I aimed to create a multi-sensory experience that transcends visual aesthetics by referencing the sound of water, which is echoed in the button chainmail fabric, among water’s slinky and shiny nature to create a paradox of appearing light while subtly carrying the weight that embraces the body.
